Pericle Odierna

Pericle was born in St. Albans (Hertfordshire) Great Britain in 1965, he attended the State Conservatory of Music of Salerno, where he graduated in clarinet in 1985, under the guidance of Maestro Angrisani. Refines his compositionself-taughtstudieswith Gianni Desidery. From 1992 to 1993 he attended the courses C.P.M in Siena and several workshops for chamber ensembles.

He alternated work as a composer and as arranger, writing for film, television, theater and various music festivals, to that of multi-instrumentalist, playing with Michael Brecker, Noa, Peppe Barra, Nino Buonocore, Simon and Garfunkel, James Newton, Rocco Papaleo and many others.

He is the composer of soundtracks for film and theater: Unapiccolaimpresameridionale; Fallo per papa;Leone &Giampiero; Senza Amore; Asade; Il sorriso del capo scopa, are some of his work.
EXPERIENCES is his latest album produced by Heristal entertainment.

Works since 1986 as Assistant Director for Film and TV and has collaborated with many Italian Directors; including: Tonino Valerii, Ruggero Deodato, Vittorio De Sisti, Sergio Martino, Antonio Bonifacio, Mauro Cappelloni, Cristiano Bortone, Ribuoli Luca, Fabrizio Costa, Stefano Vicario, Antonello Grimaldi, Vittorio Sindoni.

For TV as Director of various Second Unit; between these " BUTTA LA LUNA 2" (in some episodes was also Writer) for Raiuno.

Among his recent Theate directionr: " The Doctor in Spite of Himself" by Molière, "Murder at the Howard Johnson's" by Sam Bobrick and Ron Clark, " The Glass Menagerie " by T. Williams (Shows that went on stage with the music conposed by Pericle Odierna ), "" VITE A RISCHIO ( pièce of which he is also the author )", "Un coeur sous une soutane - Intimités d'un séminariste by Jean-Arthur Rimbaud.

For the Cinema he wrote and directed the short film" LA TRAMA DI AMLETO HAMLET's PLOT ), " presented at the 62nd Venice International Movie Festival - at Special Event "VeniceShort Movies."
